Getting Here is Easy.

Charleston is blessed with an abundance of beautiful scenery and friendly people. The Mountain State's capital city is easily accessible by air, auto, bus or rail, making it an attractive site for meetings and conventions or just visiting.


Air (CRW)

Major carriers provide non-stop service to and from regional hub cities, including Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Charlotte, Atlanta, Detroit and Houston. Passengers also have access to more than 540 cities in the U.S. on 1,400 connecting jet flights. More convenient, however, is the short, eight-minute ride from Yeager Airport to downtown Charleston. Taxi, car rental and hotel van services are all available to and from the airport. Exit 99 Greenbrier St.

Interstate

Charleston is one of the most accessible cities by auto, from all regions . Three interstate highways, I-64, I-77 and I-79, converge in Charleston, providing easy access from regional metropolitan centers.


Ground Transportation

Bus

KRT
City transportation consists of 65 buses on over 25 daily routes, including shuttle buses and old-time trolley buses. Trolleys and regular buses can be chartered for special events. Many shopping areas are in walking distance from most convention facilities. Taxi, limousine and car rental services are available to all metro attractions and activities.

Train   (CHW)
Amtrak operates the Cardinal line that runs between New York and Chicago, and it makes regularly scheduled stops at the station in Charleston.  The Amtrak station is located at 350 MacCorkle Ave., SE, Charleston. For reservations and complete information, call 1-800-USA RAIL (800-872-7245).
